2 cups rolled oats
2 cups processed bran
1 cup oat bran
1 cup rice bran
½ cup natural sultanas
½ cup currants
½ cup chopped dried apricots
½ cup chopped almonds
½ cup Pepitas (green pumpkin seeds)
½ cup Sunflower seeds
Mix all together - store in an airtight container.
Breakfast is a very important start to your day. This muesli mix is a "First Class Protein", which is essential for those with Syndrome X to start the day.
1 Serve - 2 to 4 tablespoons muesli with soymilk, almond milk, and rice milk or oat milk or protein powder.
You may add some chunks of fresh fruit if desired.
You may add one dessertspoon LSA and one teaspoon lecithin if desired.
A large quantity of this muesli recipe can be made and stored in an airtight container and will keep well if you sticky tape some bay leaves on the inside of the lid.
