This is a product that I can personally recommend as I have on of these amazing units on my balcony from where I can watch migrating whales pass by and dolphins playing - all while detoxing! Due to post surgical damage that necessitated removal of most of my large colon, followed by repeated surgeries ( 16 in total ) my lymphatic system has been decimated. There is an immense network of lymphatic glands around the colon and when these are either not functioning well, or in my case if many of them are removed; excess fluid normally pumped away, remains caught in soft tissue causing fluid build up or lymphoedema. This can cause pain, fatigue, sluggishness and swelling. Weight gain in women can often be fluid gain. These saunas assist with transport of lymph fluids thus helping with the elimination of excess fluid in tissues and removal of material that does not serve our body’s wellbeing. Using this unit for 30 minutes each day has been beyond all my expectations! Recent research suggests that the sweat from someone using an infrared sauna contains up to 20% of toxins unfriendly to the body in comparison with 1-3% in conventional steam saunas. Please note: I also take an electrolyte replacer each day due to my condition.

My wife and I are in our early 60s, and purchased a Healthstart sauna from you in April 2006. At the time we researched every sauna available on the market, and yours stood out clearly above the rest.
We aim to use it 2-3 times per week, and generally manage to maintain that program. To keep it fresh and clean, we spread old towels on the seat and floor, and as a result, our sauna smells like new all the time. We love our sauna! The sheer feeling of bathing in the heat of Far Infrared is invigorating and relaxing at the same time, and there is no doubt that our skin is cleaner and healthier than ever before. At the end of a hard day's work, there is no better way to unwind and re-charge the batteries than to relax for half-an-hour or so in the sauna, taking in with us nothing but time!

I purchased my Sauna approx 12 months ago and I worked mainly in my own building repair business in South Australia. Most of my work is physically taxing and Strenuous. I have received great benefit from my sauna in that I feel more relaxed and toned after a 1-hour session, followed by a warm shower.
The fact that I can completely relax, listen to some music and incorporate the coloured light therapy has given me some stress relief as well. I have found by sitting and relaxing my breathing in my sauna, switching off to the outside world for anywhere between 1hr and 1.5 hrs at a time just allows me to invigorate and take a new lease on work, my attitude changes and I can actually feel better.
At various times of the year I suffer with hay fever & sinus. The slightly humid affect created by taking a small bowl of water into the sauna, coupled with the aroma from the hemlock timber has significantly improved my breathing.
I am more than pleased with the purchase of my sauna and would fully recommend them to anyone who leads a hectic, stressful life that needs to combine some physical exercise and relaxation to help them improve the quality of their life.

My business uses the Healthstart Sauna not only as a sauna but also in combination with massage. The customer’s muscles are warmed up in the sauna allowing the massage to be deeper and more beneficial. I looked at so many saunas before discovering the Healthstart Sauna. Besides being a lot less expensive than the others it had the carbon panels which give a superior overall heat to the body. It had great lighting and to my surprise a DVD/CD player that was not advertised. I put it together without instructions by myself only to discover the instruction book taped to the box when I finished assembling it, it was easier than Ikea. Yes we absolutely love our sauna. We use it daily and we have incorporated its use into our workout program. we have now setup a home gym room where we have the sauna and the whole family,l do a workout then finish with a sauna. We have even setup a dvd in the room so the whole workout can be enjoyed whilst we watch our favorite movies.
We have found that our health has improved, skin is much softer and refreshed looking.
I have personally lost over 10kg now from the program we started.
I also suffer from medical problems that either need me to lie down instead of sitting upright or get around with strong medicines. I have noticed major improvements in the aching in my joints and in particular my hips. When I wake up or have a painful night sleep I will go and hop in to the sauna to warm up my bones. It has allowed me to use the infared heat to gain relief instead of turning to the medicine cabinet every time. We also have a Hot Springs outdoor spa and between the Spa & Sauna I have been able to greatly improve my mobility and my overall health is improving.
I am now finally after many years of insomnia starting to get a few hours of sleep at night so this has been a wonderful improvement.
We began to look into the health benefits of the sauna & also the spa after I was diagnosed and my pain continued to increase. As I am only 31yrs old, I needed to improve my health without relying on the pharmacy. I have found the sauna to be the best product I have purchased in a long time. It does do everything it states in the pamphlets and so much more as well.
We also enjoy the feeling of being relaxed and revitalised after we finish with the sauna.It has improved my 3 children's sleep and skin patterns also.
When I was first looking I was concerned about the sauna's that use hot rocks and steam as I find I can't breathe properly in this type of setup and also I feel they are not very child friendly so I wasn't convinced we would be able to have a sauna. After speaking to our local spa & pool shop, they put us onto your website and the rest is history.
I was particularly impressed that the sauna was very safe for children with no scalding rocks but more importantly that it used the infared technology that not only helped me to breathe comfortably, but it was the only system that has managed to really get in to my bones and joints to warm them up when I'm having a bad day.
It has been such a dramatic improvement that even the bad days are getting a little easier. My doctor has been extremely pleased with my response to incorporating the sauna into my day.
So I only have great things to report on my experience with the sauna and we are very happy we are owners of this fantastic technology.

I would just like to share my experience with the far infrared sauna that I have now had for approx 2 years. I initially bought the sauna hoping it to clear my oily skin as I had read its very good with opening pores etc, and also to help with sleep patterns. I was quite surprised that not only did it help with both of these two situations, but I also noticed that my overall circulation has improved. Before the sauna, I was keen 'aerobics goer' and although I was quite active and fit I noticed that I would never sweat as much as the other class members, even after a prolonged period of exercise, and even after drinking alot of water- I just couldn't break out a sweat. This may sound appealing to some, but to me it felt like part of me wasn't functioning correctly. The far infra-red sauna has 'kick started' my engine you could say, and has my circulation going. I build up a sweat almost as quickly as others during an intense cardiovascular workout and after each sauna use and have really noticed the difference with continued use.

Dave & I have had our Healthstart Sauna for approximately a year. We
are finding
it very beneficial for our health, and well being.
We also find it to be very relaxing
after a hard days work on the farm
& helps relieve any aches or pains .
We both are
finding that we dont need to use deodorants as the Sauna

My name is Dodie Lake.I have been using the Healthstart Far Infrared Sauna at Hypo2 Caringbah once a week for about a year. I find it excellent for detoxifying,relaxation and healing. I am in my 50s,fit and healthy,exercise rigorously and regularly and believe the sauna enhances my exercise regime. After weight training running or yoga/ Pilates, I find it invaluable for easing muscle soreness,joint stiffness and lactic acid build up.
My job as an art restorer can play havoc with my lungs,due to the chemicals used, and when I first started using the sauna,I would cough for some time afterwards. After a few weeks of use my cough lessened and now I rarely cough at all. I think the regular use of the sauna has stimulated and cleansed my lungs. I think it would be a great tool for people who are trying to give up smoking.Also if I catch it in time ,I can prevent a sore throat coming on by simply spending half an hour in the Far Infrared Sauna.
Probably one of the most valuable uses of the sauna is for stress prevention and relief.No matter what problem I have,making time to spend in the sauna will help me de-stress. Stress induced headaches and other aches and pains disappear once I am in the calming atmosphere of the sauna.
I was initially using the old model Hypo2 had and was quite happy with it but the new Carbon-Tech model is a vast improvement. I can't wait to use the newest model that John at Hypo2 will be getting from you in the very near future.The same perspiration results can be achieved with lower heat.It is so relaxing and comfortable that I sometimes fall asleep. My name is Becci Gardiner.I am presently training with a group of Surf Ironman to compete in the Coolangatta Gold Endurance Event on the Gold Coast on the 15th of October 2007.We are all members of the North Bondi Surf Club. I will be part of a girls team, doing the board paddle part of the event.
Even though I am not doing all the disciplines I still have to train very hard. Swimming ,ski paddling, running ,gym work and board paddling are all completed during the week with up to 3-4 hrs of continuous training early on Saturday mornings
By this time we are pretty shattered and head over to Hypo2 at Caringbah. The Mild Hyperbaric & Infrared Sauna Therapy is a blessing to us athletes as the recovery process to our hard training is just as important as the training.
I have been very impressed with the Far Infrared Sauna. It strips out the lactic acid, detoxes the body, improves my skin tone. We do a fair bit of swimming in chlorine and I have really noticed the improvement of my skin.
I use the Infrared Sauna for 30-40 minutes, in conjunction with the Mild Hyperbaric Therapy our recovery sessions become the most relaxing and beneficial part of the week.
I highly recommend the Far Infrared Sauna not only to athletes but for anybody who wants to look after their general health and wellbeing.

It was the most up to date technology, was continuously functioning when on (and not turning the elements on & off with temperature) and so I believed more effective than the earlier ceramic elements.

I have had my sauna now for about 2 ½ years and I absolutely love it!!!
I work at a computer all day and go home with aching shoulders and to get into the sauna after a hard day at the keyboard is such a treat! I put a relaxation CD on, grab my water and drift away for up to an hour of pleasure. It also helps me sleep so much better.
My teenage daughter loves it too, as being a teenager and always worried about how they look and pimples etc, she gets in there and it has done wonders for her skin.
I would and do recommend your sauna to so many people. It is one of the most enjoyable, relaxing experiences you can have. Buying my Gemini sauna has been the best investment I have made in a long time and I know that I will continue to have years of benefit from this great product.

I race go-karts and after a meet, start feeling my age, with aches and pains all over. A friend of mine has 1 of your sauna’s and she told me to go and try it after a race day last year. I couldn’t believe what a difference it made! I got the phone number off her and rang that week, had my very own sauna delivered the next week! The night before a go-kart race day, I jump in my sauna for session, race all day the next day, come home, shower and into the sauna again. On the next work day, I don’t even feel like I used to, there are no aches and pains like I used to suffer. I rave to everyone about how wonderful this sauna is. I was never a lover of sauna’s, always felt claustrophobic in them, but this is such a different experience, it isn’t hard to breathe in there, I don’t feel locked in, it is just such a wonderful invention. Everyone should make this investment in their health and wellbeing, I sure am glad that I did!
